Don't be tempted to just tongue really lightly, rather hear the grunt and have you work through it

Tongue opening on hairpins, better to keep the tongue and feel like you have only a small dynamic range.

Reed on the lipline, move lip out a little, a little less resistance, use tongue position for sound just a little more Clarinet comes up to meet teeth, walrus tusks come down to the top of the mouthpiece. How much walrus tusks is enough? When altissimo range blows freely. oo first, then add walrus tusks Kroepsch - E minor Mozart readthrough - add rondo Rose #9 and #18 for voicing work so, maybe we will work on articulation next time

Lesson 4

Kroepsch - voicing is getting much better, much more consistent. Using a 3 reed today adjustments today, looser, more forward feeling. little bit more forward jaw. Rose #18 keeping LH position in place Rose p. 17 18 this week. Working on keeping embouchure feeling looser and forward, watching hand position. slightly harder reed needed in about 3 weeks.

Lesson 3

getting comfortable with blowing steadily on the reed and focusing more than you think, which adds resistance. We aren't looking for minimum resistance, we are looking for stability between registers, which means making the tongue resist the air more.

added the idea of walrus tusks, to aid ease of intervals, to bring the pitch down also
